Firemen's Park & the Chaska Event Center
Firemen's Park and the Chaska Event Center were developed in 2015 by the City of Chaska, providing both indoor and outdoor celebration spaces in historic downtown Chaska. The building construction of yellow brick reflects the history of the park as the former site of a booming brickmaking industry in the early/mid-1900s. The iconic yellow clay was mined from what is now a spring-fed lake providing beautiful vistas for photos and outdoor interest for guests. During the winter months, the park is home to a lighted sixty-foot holiday tree and ice skating on the lake. In the summer, the park features a fountain splash pad and the Clayhole swim beach and concessions.
Our indoor spaces include the Event Center ballroom with reception hallway, The Copperfield Neighborhood Diner and Bar and the Chaska Curling Center.
The Event Center ballroom features natural wood, fireplace, integrated audio/visual equipment, beverage bar, dance floor and ample natural light. With seating up to 300 people, the Chaska Event Center is a memorable host site for your special event.
The Curling Center is home to over 1000 curlers. The Curling Center provides private Learn to Curl events for work or family groups. Larger groups can incorporate the Event Center ballroom into their party planning for food, beverages, and socializing.
